The goal of Shorty's Home Daycare is to provide a semi-structured environment made especially for infants up to 4 years old! School age kids I do the same, but they are in school most of the day. When they get here they must follow the same rules as the younger kids in the daycare. I try to provide the best care for your child while you are away at work.
Shorty's Home Daycare is state licensed as a home daycare facility. I have been licensed with the state of MD since 2003. I'm licensed to have up to 8 kids in my daycare ranging from the age 6 weeks-10 yrs. of age.
Being around children is one of my greatest joys, and with my years of experience as a "Mom" and a baby-sitter, I feel I can listen and understand children at their own level. Being able to talk, listen, and understand children can help them develop their self-confidence, independence, language skills, and much more. You get to know each child's needs and wants as they progress through everyday life
experiences. I want to be of service to you by providing quality care based on each child's individual needs.
I try to provide social interaction and help build their self-esteem by teaching them how to care and share for one another! With the constant supervision and planned activities, your child's mind will always be stimulated while having fun with their new friends!
Children learn best through imagination and play and that's what I do best here at SHORTY'S HOME DAYCARE!!!
