Learning

Remember to work with your kids on the following things:

(KIDS ages 1-2) work on just learning to hold a crayon and color with it. Holding utensils correctly for eating. Try to get them to talk/speak clearly. Lets start potty training if they are ready for it, if not let me know when you think they are then. When your child is around 2 1/2 you can start teaching them how to hold/write with a pencil also. I will be starting this here at daycare at the age of 2.

(KIDS ages 3-4) work on how to hold a pencil correctly and to write with it ~ letters, numbers, etc.. Also teach them how to use scissors. Get them to cut with them on all different shapes and lines. If they are getting ready to turn 4 let see if they are ready for big kids underwear yet.

I work with ALL the kids on those things listed above.

I encourage children to participate as part of a group for learning time and discussion time.

Thank you for your cooperation with all of this!
